Wouldn’t it be cool if you could have a man that was part human and part superhero or even machine?

I just finished watching the latest Terminator (don’t know which # since there’s been so many and I thought Marcus Wright (Sam Worthington) was pretty hott! Now for all of you who may not have seen Terminator Salvation, please check it out (there’s a trailer below). Since I don’t want to give away the movie I’ll just focus in on why I think Marcus is hot.

In short, Marcus Wright is human with machinery integrated into his body. On the outside he looks human, flesh, blood, the whole nine yards. Okay, so I know you’re thinking “Isn’t that just like all the other terminators?” True, except for the fact that Marcus doesn’t know he’s part machine nor does he feel like he’s anything other than human. It isn’t until an accident occurs that he finds the truth about what he really is. But, the cool thing is that even after finding out that he’s part machine, the humanity in him fails to change. Marcus continues to demonstrate human like qualities and behavior such as caring, thoughtfulness, protection, and other human emotions.

So, what’s my point with this whole thing? Well, I found it quite attractive that he was like a super human. I began to think hmmm… “If these type of guys were around would I seriously be interested?” (smh) And my answer was, yes! Why? Because, he had the same human qualities as I mentioned but he could also defend and protect the household like no other, which I think is important.

Just think about Lois Lane and Superman. What was the attraction there? Do you think she ever worried about something happening to him? Or ever felt unsafe while with him? And, why did she never give Clark Kent a second look even though they were the same person? I’ll tell you why, one had that superhero quality that women find attractive. It’s plain and simple!

Another cool thing about Marcus Wright was that since he was part machine he could fix anything (now isn’t that nice not having to worry about stuff around the house breaking down). And, like a computer he could download information, so anything he doesn’t know he can learn in minutes! Now, I don’t know about you but, he truly could be my Mr. Wright (had to play off of that it was too easy

Unfortunately, this man doesn’t exist yet So until he does what’s a girl to do? Well, don’t just sit there and wait for Bill Gates to make him, lol, go find your superhero! He may not be like Marcus Wright or Superman, but, he can be all that you need.

Here’s what my ideal superhero looks like:

1. Provide- A man should be able to provide the things that his family needs i.e. food, shelter, clothing, etc.

2. Protect- A man should be able to protect and shield his family from those who may want to cause harm to them in any way. You should feel safe with him, know that he’s got your back 100% and he will protect your name and honor at all costs.

3. Communicate- A man should be able to communicate with you about how he feels, what he needs, wants, etc. in a manner that creates open and healthy discussions and growth.

4. Respect- A man should always respect you as an individual and as his woman. This means that he always has your best interest at heart, will never allow you to feel less of a person and always treat you like a lady(hello, I’m talking about chivalry).

5. Appreciate- A man should appreciate the gifts and talents you bring to the relationship whether they be monetary, supportive, physical, companionship, through trust, etc. He should see what you have to offer and be grateful you chose him.

6. Cherish- A man should cherish you as his woman by acknowledging your true value and worth to him. He should know that without you he will never be at his best.

7. Allow- A man should allow you to be who you are in all its glory. Allow you to make mistakes, grow, and explore without stifling your freedom or growth as a person.

Now ladies, don’t take this information and go crazy with it, lol. You must also demonstrate that you are a women of class who expects and is deserving of such a man to bestow these superhero qualities upon you. If you have a super man already remind him and yourself why you chose each other and let him know that he’s your super hero and why.

If you always act like a true woman that is befitting of a such a high quality, rare breed, such as this coveted superhero, then you will find/keep each other and never let go.

Oh yea, John Conner (Christian Bale) was working it too, now that’s an example of a real Superman you can go find!
